Our client is a long-established and trusted name within the print industry, known for delivering exceptional quality and service across a wide range of projects. They partner with major brands, agencies, and public sector clients, providing innovative print solutions that help their customers communicate effectively and efficiently. As the business continues to expand, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Print Buyer to join their dedicated and collaborative team.

The Role

As a Print Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing the sourcing, purchasing, and coordination of print production for a diverse portfolio of projects. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers to ensure every job is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. From briefing suppliers and negotiating costs to overseeing production schedules and quality checks, you’ll take ownership of the full print procurement process.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires both commercial awareness and a deep understanding of print manufacturing. You’ll be expected to balance creativity with cost-efficiency, building strong supplier relationships while ensuring the company continues to deliver outstanding value and service to its clients.

About You

You will have proven experience in print buying, ideally gained within a busy print, mailing, or marketing services environment. You’ll have a strong technical understanding of different print processes — including litho, digital, large format, and direct mail — and the confidence to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and maintain meticulous attention to detail.

You’ll be proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially minded, with a genuine passion for print and a commitment to achieving the best results for clients. Experience with estimating systems or management information systems (such as Tharstern, PrintIQ, or EFI) would be an advantage, but more important is your drive to deliver excellence and your ability to work as part of a close-knit, supportive team.

What’s on Offer

In return, you’ll be joining a well-respected and forward-thinking company that values its people and invests in their development. You’ll enjoy a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and high-profile print projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Print Buyer who’s looking for stability, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact in a growing business.
