An opportunity has arisen to join the Packaging Buying team on a fixed term contract, as a Packaging Buying Co-ordinator. You will be driving and supporting the procurement and supply excellence within the Packaging Buying Team, ensuring the procurement process and associated activity is efficient, accurate and effective. This includes holding responsibility for supply/stock management activity across a number of categories.

Key responsibilities will include:

o Management of stock requirements and orders for agreed categories.

o Development and maintenance of strong and effective external supplier relationships.

o Responsibility for agreed NPD and EPD projects on behalf of Packaging Buying, working closely with buyers, cross functionally and externally with suppliers to land initiatives on time.

o Management of the Run-in/Run-out of items for agreed categories for NPD/EPD projects.

o Identify, analyse and implement improvements to optimise buying patterns and stockholding of packaging items, to reduce inventory and cost whilst maintaining availability.

o Responsibility for the stock take process on behalf of the packaging buying team including reconciliation, preparation, consolidation and system data entry.

o Analysis and reporting of agreed packaging CSF KPIs for the Packaging team

o Management of the quality non-conformance process for Packaging Buying through to resolution.

The successful candidate will have FMCG/ Manufacturing background within Supply Chain, ideally within procurement. You will be highly proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and have experience of using stock management systems. The ability to work cross functionally and be an effective communicator with both internal & external stakeholders and develop strong relationships will be key. You will be highly organised, have a keen eye for detail and be able to meet deadlines alongside ensuring accuracy and process compliance.
