They are now seeking a strategic Head of Procurement to take full ownership of their group spend and margin-enhancement strategies.
The Role:
As Head of Procurement, you will lead the commercial sourcing strategy for the entire business. This is a high-impact commercial position where your negotiation skills and market timing will directly influence company profitability. You will oversee massive material expenditure, optimize vendor networks, and implement fast-paced cost-recovery strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Spend Management: Take full ownership of the corporate procurement strategy across raw materials, print manufacturing consumables, and external logistics.
- Spot-Market Sourcing: Manage the ad-hoc purchase of key manufacturing materials (specifically paper and substrates) on a case-by-case basis.
- Post-Win Margin Optimization: Drive corporate profitability by reviewing standard project rate cards and leveraging market liquidity to beat baseline material costs post-win.
- Broker & Merchant Trading: Cultivate and exploit an agile, high-level network of secondary brokers and paper merchants to secure instant volume discounts.
- Supply Chain Risk Mitigation: Analyse global commodity trends and raw material indexes to time major spot-market purchases perfectly.
