One of the largest printing groups in the UK is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its team. This is a dynamic company which has won awards for its industry leading digital, litho and large format printing solutions. This is a company which has so much to offer – it is not only known as a quality printer, but as a marketing solutions provider. It is their broad range of services which has allowed them to work with some of the world’s leading brands time and time again.

Along with success in award ceremonies, they have also seen recent success in new business, and have secured a list of big-name contracts. They are looking to continue this winning streak which is where your expertise within the printing industry will come in to place.

We are looking for someone who has a hunger for new business and never holds back when putting in that extra bit of effort to get results.

Networking is critical in this position, so you must be flexible when it comes to travel. You will be expected to work according to your own initiative. Day-to-day methods and schedules to deliver new business consistently will be left largely up to you.

The role of business development manager will have three primary responsibilities:

  1. Identify new sales leads
  2. Pitch products and services
  3. Maintain fruitful relationships with existing customers

It will be your job to research organisations and their needs to identify new leads and potential new markets, and then contact these organisations and set up meetings.

We are looking for an excellent communicator who is confident in their ability to present to professionals at all levels, and to negotiate and renegotiate.
