Job Title: Studio Manager

Salary: £Excellent package

Location: East Anglia

Reference: J1500

This position has now been filled, but has been left on our website as we have other similar vacancies on an ongoing basis.
More importantly, we have vacancies that are not advertised due to their confidential nature. It is therefore in your interest to email your CV, as a Word document, depending on your sector, to:

  • Head of Packaging recruitment – Greg Nelson – greg@harrison-scott.co.uk
  • Head of Print recruitment – Neil Pearson – neil@harrison-scott.co.uk
  • Head of Paper recruitment – Gary Young – gary@harrison-scott.co.uk
  • Board level, account management, and all levels of sales vacancies – George Thompson – george@harrison-scott.co.uk

Our divisional heads will then email your CV internally to the consultant who specialises in your exact sector. For example, a category of packaging is cartons, a category of print is print management. In fact, we have over 30 specialist categories.
Our specialist consultant will contact you if we have a live vacancy that matches, or in the near future as soon as a good match to your skill set and experience becomes available.

A key Studio / Production Manager position with a large packaging group

Our client is a large packaging group. With this position it is all about scale in that we would like to hear from candidates who run large teams (20 – 50 head count). We find that when we advertise Studio Management roles for our larger clients we often get applicants who have run a 5 to 15 head count. Unfortunately this is not the correct level we seek. Importantly, candidates must be from either a packaging discipline, packaging repro or labels. Again, for these roles we often get applications from Studio Managers from Web, Sheet Fed, Publishing and other non-packaging sectors, however these won’t be a match. We try to be as precise as possible, not just to save our time, but more importantly, to stop candidate’s building up their hopes for a position that is not a match.
I was just about to describe the job – however I know for certain, the right type of applicant will know exactly what a Studio Manager does!!!
