Sales Executive – Public Sector-Existing Accounts

What a great job – selling to a client base as secure as the bank of England with NO COLD CALLING. This is one of our client’s largest and most important clients and they are looking for a very special individual. The first and most important big box you have to tick is that you must spend the vast majority of your time selling to the public sector (that could be local government, national government, NHS etc). Let me stop here. Us recruitment consultants are not putting obstacles in the way of anyone chasing their dream job, we have clients to serve and if a client asks us to recruit an elephant, our reply would be “certainly, African or Indian” We never say “you want an elephant, would you not fancy a budgie instead”. So please be honest with yourself, don’t apply if you have only sold to the odd local council here and there. This is a Public Sector specialist we are looking for. The second box is that you must be from a commercial print or DM or TM backgound. Not packaging, labels, POS etc, just one of the three detailed. Sorry to be so precise but my hope of adding a touch of humour will help put the points across. More than anything we don’t like to see people building up their hopes by applying for positions they don’t match the hiring criteria for. For the right person, this is a cracker of a job.
