Our client, a long established printers based in Oxfordshire, is currently seeking a Production Manager to control and plan the work flow to meet customer deadlines. We are therefore looking for a professional individual with a meticulous eye for detail, to check product specifications, make adjustments, oversee and manage the work of other staff, and monitor the quality of the products. As Production Manager, you will be responsible for: Maximising productivity on all machinery and ensuring the flow of work in a timely manner. • Ensure that all job sheets and tracking tickets are being completed by staff members upon completion of each production process. • Produce daily work schedules/reports and daily despatch notes for stock items. • Ensure that QC checks are being completed at each stage of the production process and prior to despatch. • Keep procedure notes for the running of equipment within the department up to date. Propose changes where appropriate to improve procedures. • Ensure staff members maintain a reasonable level of productivity whilst maintaining quality. • Ensure the print room and bindery is kept clean and tidy.
