A well-established and successful label manufacturer has a key opening within its production team. Our client’s ISO9001:2008 accreditation is just one reflection of its ability to satisfy the exact quality, service and value demands of its ever expanding list of clients. They are looking for a senior production manager who pays the upmost attention to detail to every task in hand, not just meeting but exceeding all customer expectations.
Overseeing all aspects of our client’s production policies, objectives, and initiatives, your role will be to schedule and ensure proper utilisation of facilities and personnel for production.
This position requires a highly-skilled, organised, detail-orientated, self-motivated, flexible individual to work within strict deadlines in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Working closely with the managing director, you will ensure expectations are met on timeliness, quality and profitability, safeguarding the reputation of our client. Your wealth of experience will come in to hand when required to troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the production process.
A key expectation pertaining to this role will be to adopt best practises in all areas to drive efficiency with a long-term vision. You will initiate production improvement plans and processes to minimise costs through effective utilisation of manpower, equipment, facilities and materials.
As the head of the department, you will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills and be a positive team player. Our client has stressed an important in finding someone with the characteristics to nurture and support the team.
The individual most suited for this role will be familiar with developing new production technologies, will constantly keep up to date with the latest trends, and allowing passion for the industry to shine through.
