A leading print and packaging company that helps the most renowned brands in the world create a significant impact is looking for an Account manager. This role will ensure the range of new and existing client projects are managed effectively and efficiently, and that the work is strategically focused, delivered on time and on budget whilst championing the quality and delivery of all projects.
The successful candidate will have project management/hands-on responsibility for two major clients in Germany, and will play a key role in maintaining growth in the German market.
Key Responsibilities
To provide superior service to the business by:
∙ Be the primary day to day project level face to the client(s).
∙ Liaise with the client contacts and project stakeholders to define and agree on project inputs, timelines and deliverables.
∙ Manage the booking of projects and work with traffic managers, studio managers and other team members to ensure the smooth flow of work through the studios and an output that satisfactorily delivers the client needs.
∙ Handle the client account/s and developing a strong solid business relationship with clients through regular and proactive contact.
∙ Decide on the best way to meet the client’s business objectives through effective sales promotion and consistently challenging the status quo.
∙ Coordinate all aspects of the response to the client brief paying particular attention to quality and revenue generated.
∙ Continually work to improve internal processes, communications and the working relationship between the assigned account team and all other departments
∙ Monitor progress, pre-empting any problems and making recommendations in regard to modifications required through a solution focussed approach.
∙ Effectively obtain and manage feedback from clients.
∙ Monitor competitor activity and report back to the client.
∙ Strive to strengthen and extend the client relationship through the identification of business growth opportunities by demonstration of a full application of the marketing mix, retail techniques and legalities.
∙ Ensure a thorough understanding of the internal and billing procedures, assisting in the completion of monthly financial summaries and forecasts together with the Account Director.
