Role reports to:  General Manager

Role Function: To manage the pre-press and print production areas covering all printing processes. To ensure the Department achieves the Production Plan and is effective and efficient regarding labour, material usages and other budgetary cost constraints.

To achieve budgeted machine performance efficiencies as a minimum.

Required experience:

  • Knowledge of flexographic printing presses.
  • Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or FMCG environment, with management experience.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • Computer literate with advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of efficiency and profitability improvements.
  • Professionally trained in management disciplines and understanding of modern tools and techniques.
  • Strategic approach with strong problem solving and analytical skills,
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques and demonstrate at a practical level.
  • Change Management experience.
  • Strong awareness of current HSE and employment legislation.
