Due to ongoing growth and increasing customer demand, they are seeking an experienced Print Estimator to join their team.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Print Estimator to play a key role within a busy and fast-paced production environment.

Working closely with sales, customer service, production and purchasing teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates, ensuring all specifications are fully understood and costed correctly.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of print production processes and be capable of evaluating the most efficient and cost-effective manufacturing methods for a wide variety of print projects.

Key Responsibilities

·Prepare accurate quotations and estimates from customer specifications.
·Assess job requirements and determine the most cost-effective production methods.
·Calculate material, labour, finishing and subcontract costs.
·Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing for outsourced services and materials.
·Work closely with sales and account management teams to support new business opportunities.
·Review production methods and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
·Ensure all estimates are completed within agreed timescales.
·Maintain estimating records and pricing information.
·Provide technical advice and support to internal departments where required.
·Assist with tender submissions and large project quotations.

Candidate Profile

We are interested in speaking with candidates who have previous estimating experience within a commercial print, print management or print production environment.

You should possess:

·Proven experience in a Print Estimator, Senior Estimator or Estimating Manager role.
·Strong knowledge of commercial print manufacturing processes.
·Understanding of lithographic, digital and finishing operations.
·Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
·Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
·Good commercial awareness and cost-management capability.
·Ability to interpret customer specifications and technical requirements.
·Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
·A proactive and organised approach to managing workload and deadlines.
