Pre-Press Operator

A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a fast growing design & print business based in South West London. The company is going through an expansion plan and there is a great chance for successful applicant to grow within the business.

Day to day duties will include:

• To carry out digital file checking, preparation, imposition and output to various proofing, printing and setting devices.
• Comprehension and following of instructions from a spec sheet or job docket, to produce results to the high standards required.
• Artwork and file alteration when necessary.
• Understanding of production workflows and following their procedures.
• Responsibility of data entry on the MIS system.
• Some order processing of repeat work.

Software role will be using:

Enfocus Pitstop
Tharstern Primo MIS
Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, CS Suite skills)
Microsoft (Word, Excel)

The candidate must have a positive attitude, and possess the following personal attributes:

Ability to learn new skills.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team, as well as being self motivated.
Good organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Reliable.
Minimum of 3 years working in an artworking or pre press environment

Starting salary full time = £Negotiable depending on experience.
