We have an opportunity to join an industry leader, to manage all areas of paper control and paper operations to meet all financial, production and customer stakeholder requirements. As Paper Manager, your role will be to identify, plan and implement improvement activities relating to all aspects of Paper Operations, and to carry out daily transactional, administrative and clerical activities in conjunction with Paper requirements.
We are looking for a leader who can create a positive impact and influence in the business, and who can demonstrate ability to lead change in both a transactional and operations environment. You must also be customer and solutions focused individual for both internal and external relationships. Candidates must be flexible enough to manage any requirements that come with a 24/7 operation, able to multitask different work streams and projects, and able to work autonomously, with self-motivation and decision-making capability.

Key responsibilities:

Ensuring all paper required for production is available on time in full
Effective Management of delivery schedules in line with production to optimize utilization of warehouse
Manage hauler performance working with customers and suppliers
Ensure adherence to all warehouse operations processes and procedures
Alignment of physical inventory with SAP and customer statements
Drive all financial performance metrics and communicate and present this to all relevant key stakeholders
Manage all employee relations matters such as discipline, absence and performance management.
Identifying throughout the entire end to end planning and production process both operational opportunities for waste / overs reduction and over / under usage as a result of contractual allowance calculations. Engaging and coordinating all appropriate stakeholders in order that any such improvement opportunities are realized.
