Packaging Artworker / Repro Operator

A creative agency whose work is renowned for catching customers’ attention is expanding its production team. They are on the search for a talented, detail-orientated Packaging Artworker and Repro Operator to ensure all deliverables will print according to the brief supplied and brand consistencies are adhered to.

This process driven role will be responsible for the following:

o Check that the digital artwork / proofs will print and that they are completed to the brief supplied.

o Feedback errors to production team in a timely manner.

o Use internal MIS system in accordance with standardised work procedures to ensure maintenance of an accurate permanent asset database.

o Understand the importance of using systems to monitor and record QC errors on all jobs.

o Adhere to all internal processes in place for art working and repro

o Adhere to all reporting processes set up within the department.

o Provide input into development of QC process based on client needs.

Candidates must have a sound working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator along with a thorough knowledge of repro and artwork processes for the packaging industry. Having FMCG packaging experience would be a distinct advantage.
