Operations Director – North England

A state-of-the-art print and packaging firm is searching for an outstanding Operations Director to join their executive management team.

They are looking for someone with a clearly demonstrable background in lean manufacturing, or other major continuous improvement quality systems, to direct and lead all manufacturing operations, striving towards operational excellence. A key component of this role will be the implementation and follow through on lean manufacturing processes to reduce waste and make ready times.

Our client recognises that they will strengthen through fresh eyes and an outsider’s perspective, so they are hoping that their new recruit will pass on knowledge and know-how to enhance capabilities. Acting as a hands-on mentor, we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic, yet patient and empathetic leader who will help supervisors and managers become just as proficient in lean manufacturing practices and implementation.
