Job Title: Operations Director – Polythene Products
Salary: c.£65k pa plus benefits

A leading manufacturer of plain and printed polythene products for Industrial packaging is searching for an outstanding Operations Director to join their executive management team.
We are looking for a strong influencer and leader with captivating communication skills to direct and coordinate the internal structure of the organisation based on company policies, goals, and objectives. The Operations Director will work in tangent with the main board of directors in setting goals and will be dedicated to formulating and implementing plans which will improve the company’s position and profitability through increased efficiency and cost reduction. You will identify improvement areas and plan and implement systems to boost company effectiveness.
Many of the challenges that you will face will be operationally focussed. Prior experience in an operational/production/manufacturing senior role in polythene / flexible packaging/ flexo printed films / industrial packaging industries will have allowed you to develop a strength in overseeing daily activity of a manufacturing team, oversee functions, and overcome any challenges faced. You will use this experience to provide advice and guidance to other employees, as well as manage team workloads in order to meet goals and deadlines.
The role of Operations Director requires strong organisational skills to prepare budgets, schedules, and other organisational reports as needed.
