We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled and motivated Offset Lithographic Printer to join a fast-paced, high-quality production environment where precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything.

🕒 Shift Pattern That Works for You

This role operates on a rotating two-shift system:

  • Day Shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm
  • Night Shift: 6:00pm – 6:00am

You’ll work 3 x 12-hour shifts per week — 3 consecutive days on, followed by 4 consecutive days off. The pattern rotates between days and nights, giving you extended time off every week.

Your mission? To ensure all printing work is delivered efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest possible quality standards, fully aligned with internal procedures and customer specifications.

🖨️ What You’ll Be Doing

Production Excellence

  • Deliver production output in line with agreed schedules.
  • Ensure all team members follow approved procedures and instructions.
  • Prepare materials in advance to keep machines running smoothly.
  • Print to exceptional quality standards within set colour tolerances.
  • Ensure preventative machine maintenance is completed as scheduled.
  • Proactively review production schedules and suggest performance improvements.
  • Remain flexible to meet evolving production demands.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with colleagues to minimise downtime.
  • Liaise with Managers and QA to maintain strict quality standards (ISO procedures).
  • Escalate any production issues, delays, or equipment faults promptly.

Quality, Compliance & Standards

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) accurately.
  • Complete documentation thoroughly and correctly.
  • Support ongoing review and improvement of procedures with QA and Management.
  • Contribute to maintaining BRC Food Safety and Retail Packaging standards.

Health, Safety & Environment

  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
  • Promote safe working practices at all times.
  • Keep equipment in excellent working order and report issues proactively.
