Our award winning Client develops ‘end of line’ packaging machinery that replaces traditional Shrink Wrappers and Corrugated Case Packers for the FMCG sector that meets the exacting demands of the Retail sector for a fully closed loop recycling regime that also cuts production costs.

Established as an alternative to shrink wrapping, our Client has developed a new and unique secondary packaging system using ‘cold wrap’ technology, developed to help businesses achieve their commitment to deliver lighter weight, lower cost and more energy efficient transit and retail ready packaging.

The system eliminates the use of heat, (as usually applied in shrink wrap systems), substituting it with a lighter, 100% recyclable polymer film that, when combined with innovative corrugate tray designs, uses less cardboard making it suitable for ambient, fresh and frozen products. The system has also delivered greater flexibility on operating speeds.
