A highly creative, award winning large format digital print production company is looking for an installer to join its team.

This role requires someone with plenty of experience installing wide format printed graphics.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Installation of internal and external signage, including but not limited to: way finding systems, vinyl application, hoardings, totems, banners.
  • Working with media/substrates such as Acrylic, ACM, Foamex, Window Vinyl, Illuminated lighting systems.
  • Organising multiple install teams, liaising with account managers and production, to ensure that projects are completed to a high standard and within the required timeframe.
  • Develop trainee members of staff.
  • Ensure that the preparation of graphics/signage is completed on time and to a high-quality standard.
  • Carry out signage installations using power tools and access equipment in a safe effective manner. Working at height is required.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to signage as and when required.
  • Maintain all relevant installation equipment in addition to both hand and power tools.
  • Effectively plan installs and work under own initiative when on site, solving any issues that may arise during the install.
  • Working unsupervised or as part of a team supporting the lead installer on projects, always maintaining a high standard of finish.
  • Photograph completed work and share with the wider display teams.
  • Coordinate installation projects in conjunction with external contractors and additional installation teams.
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by company management and provide cover for production areas.
  • Support in factory/warehouse operation – handling deliveries, supporting with the goods in process and operating the forklift when required.
  • Flexible and willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Full clean driving license essential, maintain company vehicle, and share in the driving duties when travelling to and from installation locations.
  • Utilise company vehicle to load and transport goods as required by management.
  • Work towards obtaining and maintaining all required licenses in the timeframe specified by the company.
  • Follow all company procedures and Health and Safety guidelines.

Additional Overtime (time and a half for installation work and time and a third for working in production)

Monday to Friday (occasional work required at weekends)

Standard working hours 8:30am – 5pm (Early starts and late finish times could be required, depending on the location & type of install)
