A market leader in the delivery of innovative ink solutions is looking for a In Plant Technician to be based at one of their packaging clients and play a key role in the delivery of company / customer objectives
Scope
This role plays a key role in supporting both the company and the needs of customer in relation to ink supply, ink management and general relationship between customer and supplier.
Main Tasks
- Integrate into the existing ink team and establish solid working foundation
- Manage inventory
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Work to agreed KPI program and customer targets
- Support printers and ink techs with colour matching whist making ready and ensure minimum downtime
- Use Xrite software to manage formulations and colour standards
- Create colour libraries on Rexson system and ensure repeatability can be achieved
- Back match formulations and update systems
- Work alongside customer and maintain a positive can do attitude in an often pressured environment
- Carrying out any other duties as requested by the customer or management team
- Have a presence in the press area
Shift System: 6-2, 2-10
