A market leader in the delivery of innovative ink solutions is looking for a In Plant Technician to be based at one of their packaging clients and play a key role in the delivery of company / customer objectives

Scope

This role plays a key role in supporting both the company and the needs of customer in relation to ink supply, ink management and general relationship between customer and supplier.

Main Tasks

  • Integrate into the existing ink team and establish solid working foundation
  • Manage inventory
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Work to agreed KPI program and customer targets
  • Support printers and ink techs with colour matching whist making ready and ensure minimum downtime  
  • Use Xrite software to manage formulations and colour standards
  • Create colour libraries on Rexson system and ensure repeatability can be achieved
  • Back match formulations and update systems 
  • Work alongside customer and maintain a positive can do attitude in an often pressured environment
  • Carrying out any other duties as requested by the customer or management team
  • Have a presence in the press area
