We have an opportunity for an In House Operator (Blender) with an eye for detail and good colour vision to join a company dedicated to bringing colour and function to printing and packaging products. This role requires a good problem solver who takes a methodical approach to their work and who is capable of working under pressure.

Provide on-site support to customer through the following:

o Dispense ink in line with the daily production plan(s)

o Move product to & from machine(s) if applicable

o Book back press returns into the dispense management system

o Place press returns in clearly marked locations

o Re-work press returns where possible

o Cluster press returns into common running colours

o Place a weekly material order using the order form provided

o File all delivery notes for month end consignment stock count

o Book new deliveries into the dispense management system

o Replenish material stocks on dispense management system

o Arrange uplift of any empty containers or waste ink, ensuring containers are safely palletized and lids are secured.

Support ink blender and ink production through the following:

o Observe all customer & company rules and polices

o Ensure ink area complies with customers hygiene accreditation

o Maintain dispensing equipment & working area with good housekeeping techniques

Provide on-site technical support to customer through the following:

o Update & maintain digital colour database & recipes within the dispense management system

o Update & maintain X-rite (iQC) with existing & new colour standards

o Support on-site colour corrections & basic trouble shooting on press

Support ink management and ink production through the following:

o Capture any ‘NCR’ issues & action accordingly

6-2, 2-10, 10-6 rotating shift pattern
