THE ROLE

The Head of Operations will be responsible for ensuring the full production and delivery from South East Asia to all clients. A high level of client satisfaction across an array of international clients, whilst having a keen eye on budgets, profits and optimisation of workflows and daily operations. This role requires a proactive individual capable of seeing both the big picture and the finest details, someone with strategic flair and stays one step ahead. You should possess strong management skills, a deep business understanding, and be driven by continuous growth and results. As a professional and approachable leader, you are a leader who gets things done ‘the right way’ and can make tough decisions and stand by them. Building strong partnerships between the teams and countries likewise with clients and colleagues comes very naturally to you.

Our client produces thousands of assets every week for global clients, so experience and knowledge of its core business is key. We are searching for a person who has had significant exposure to digital production, graphic design and client service in an offshore graphic production facility to clients globally.

We expect you might come from a background of Operations Manager, General Manager or Production Manager or similar.

The individual we are looking for must enjoy and master working in an international environment with many different operational and administrative tasks. Daily you will communicate mainly with colleagues across teams and countries. A deep and natural understanding for various cultures and working across different time zones is therefore an absolute must.

Candidates must have experience running a workforce in excess of 100 people to apply for this role.

This company is experiencing a lot of transformational change, and its services and clients are constantly evolving. As Head of Operation, you will be a key figure in the production development and adaptation of the organisation and will help set the standards for production, culture, deliveries, and ways of working for the future.

ABOUT YOU

Strategy, understanding of numbers and KPIs including people management is in your DNA. You will be a role model for the managers and the main figure in the continuous development of skillsets and deliveries in our production, that is growing every year.

You can demonstrate strong leadership across teams and counties. You have a strong track record of delivering effective management and proven results of building up a graphic production facility.

You are skilled at leading and developing people and adapting to an ever-changing world we operate in. Onboarding of new clients, optimising workflows and making sure the perfect teams are set together with the Head of Departments. To hire the right people for the right positions and to oversee promotions and pay rises is something you are also skilled at. To have difficult conversations and negotiations when needed, with staff and clients.
