Graphic Technician

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graphic Technician with experience in using large scale scanners and printers, and in producing and installing graphics, to join the in-house creative team of an eminent charity. Drawing on your technical, creative and co-ordination skills, the objective of this role will be to maintain innovative interpretation designs.

Main duties will include:

• Playing an integral part in interpretation management, providing maintenance of design work and contributing to the creativity of the team. Including in this will be application of layouts and installation of graphics.

• Maintaining a routine maintenance programme for all exhibit and display areas, including liaising with contractors to support the maintenance of audio visual and manual interactives within exhibits.

• Being responsible for installation of small design projects, producing large format printing work on a variety of substrates, procuring materials and supplies for production of signs.

• Liaising with external suppliers and internal departments to develop implementation plans consistent with overall Programming projects.  Ensure elements are delivered to time, quality and cost.

• Supporting internal departments by ensuring clear standards and templates are always in place and understood.

• Working with colleagues to redevelop existing interpretation.

To apply for this Graphic Technician role, you must have a qualification in design production or equivalent experience in graphic design production, along with full competence in the use of mandatory Computer Programmes including creative cloud applications – Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.  Aside from the technical requirements, we are looking for a great communicator capable of managing own workload and working under pressure in order to become an integral part of this close knit team.
