The Opportunity

As General Sales Manager, you’ll spearhead the business’s strategic move into this exciting and fast-growing market. You’ll be responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy, leading a small but talented team, and driving revenue growth through new and existing relationships in the food-to-go packaging space.

This is a hands-on leadership role—perfect for someone who combines strategic acumen with a genuine passion for creating standout packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy focused on the food-to-go packaging market.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients, identifying opportunities to add value and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across design, production, and innovation to deliver high-impact, commercially successful outcomes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to ensure the business stays ahead of the curve.

About You

You’ll bring a blend of strategic sales leadership and deep sector knowledge, ideally with a proven track record selling packaging into the food-to-go or FMCG market. You thrive on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and inspiring others to deliver excellence.

You’ll also have:

  • Strong experience in print or packaging sales, ideally within food-to-go or foodservice.
  • A consultative approach with a keen eye for design, innovation, and premium quality.
  • The ability to lead from the front, motivate teams, and drive business growth.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence to operate at senior stakeholder level.
