General Manager

This role is extremely hands on and would suit someone who thrives in an environment with a highly varied workload.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Generate accurate and commercially priced quotations
Price completed work and invoice.
Liase with customers and sales teams to understand their ongoing requirements.
Purchase materials and resources in the most cost effective manner and monitor supplier performance.
Coordinate and plan production schedule
Monitor operator and machine performance.
Identify and implement improvements in key areas.
Implement staff training programme were requested.
First point of contact with staff.
Monitor stock levels and supply stock.
Liaise with senior managers and staff with all relevant information.
Acknowledge, investigate and respond to any customer complaints.
Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
Support senior managers in the administrative aspects of the business.
Provide a safe working environment for all employees.
Generate any reports required by senior management team.
Achieve agreed targets set for efficiencies and profitability.
