Position Overview:
Our Client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexographic Printer Operator to join their dynamic production team. Experience with either narrow-web or wide-web flexographic printing processes required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses and ensuring the consistent production of high-quality printed materials, particularly flexible film.
This role demands strong technical expertise, a focus on quality, and a commitment to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
·Set up and operate flexographic printing presses.
·Conduct press checks to verify colour accuracy, print quality, and registration
·Monitor press operations and adjust settings to maintain optimal output
·Mix and manage solvent-based ink formulations to meet colour specifications
·Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and job logs
·Clean and maintain press components, including anilox rollers and related equipment
·Troubleshoot mechanical issues and carry out minor repairs or adjustments
·Adhere to safety procedures and company quality control standards
·Collaborate with prepress, finishing, and quality control departments.
Requirements:
·Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating flexographic printing presses
·Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
·Proficiency with solvent-based inks and colour matching techniques
·Ability to interpret job cards, colour standards, and technical specifications
·Knowledge of print quality assurance practices
·Physically fit to manage manual handling and prolonged periods of standing
·Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime when necessary
