Overall Job Purpose:

To deliver a first class level of service and support to UK customers, ensuring good communication between them and all departments within the company.

Role reports to Regional Service Manager / UK Service Manager.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide service, repairs, installations and maintenance on equipment to UK Customers within the SLA agreements and as directed by the RSM, Service administration and UK Service Manager.
  • Carry out service calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer focus and communications e.g. phone ahead to confirm e.t.a., follow up and resolve technical and parts issue to completion.
  • Keep customer, RSM and customer support department updated and informed.
  • Attend all training courses and service meetings as requested.
  • Provide customer telephone engineering support.
  • Proficient use of software that impacts on a service engineers’ responsibilities.
  • Complete all relevant documentation and paperwork ensuring it is received by the appropriate administrator on time.
  • Ability to develop an in-depth knowledge of Finishing Equipment supplied by Company.
  • Provide demonstrations on equipment if and when required.
  • Support UK and International operations with events and requests.
  • Maintain spare parts car stock, cost awareness and process warranty claims.
  • Ensure service and maintenance calls are carried out and records retained.
  • Work under own guidance as well as part of a team.
  • Maintain company property i.e. vehicle, tools, lap top, phone etc.
  • Observe Health & Safety policies & procedures.
  • Wlways promote company products and feedback any relevant information back to the service and sales departments.
  • Promote Company in a positive manner and demonstrate a polite and respectful attitude to customers and fellow colleagues.
