Job Title: Estimator / Account Management

Role based West London / Surrey area

Our Client is an established and successful producer of custom presentation products including ring binders, folders, and media packaging

They seek an additional member of staff to work in their sales team as an account manager and estimator.

The role will predominantly entail putting together quotes for qualified leads and following up these quotes at a suitable time.

The role will include:-

Taking and making phone calls from and to customers
Listening to customers and asking questions to find out more about their needs
Suggesting solutions from the range of products we offer

Quoting standard products using a comprehensive pricing system or with prices available on the website
Providing solutions and quoting for non standard products based on cost of materials and labour
Following up leads at suitable points until the order is confirmed or lost
Updating customer and order information in the system
Taking orders
Keeping in touch with key clients using the Customer Relationship Management software

Working hours are 9am-5pm with half hour lunch break or 9am-5.30pm with 1 hour lunch break.

**There is the potential for our Client to appoint 2 people to fulfil the above requirements:-

1 in a more senior role;
With a background in print, who would be able to put together pricing for more complex products based on cost of materials and labour as well as standard products. They would need to be able to interpret the brief given by the customer and provide a solution and price based on available processes. Salary approx £25k pa

A less senior role;
Would still need a background in print but would not necessarily be expected to work out prices based on the interpretation of the customers spec and the materials/labour available. Salary approx £18.5 / £22k pa
