We have an opportunity to join a company redefining the landscape of digital printing with a focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability. This client is looking for an experienced digital print operator to join their evolving team and carry out the daily operation and maintenance of their state-of-the-art machinery.
Operate the designated printer, and assist in the running of other kit where necessary
Ensure records, reporting and data capture are both accurate and submitted in a presentable and timely manner.
Ensure the day-to-day running of the devices are productive and efficient.
Identify opportunities to improve service and reduce costs.
Help maintain a safe, clean and presentable working environment.
Help implement and maintain all present or future best practice methods.
Ensure that colour management protocols are followed across all devices you are responsible for.
Liaise with departmental managers ensuring all production requirements are met.
Ensure the quality of all output work and to follow Quality Control System procedures.
Aim to improve the speed of production through technical expertise.
To pro-actively identify technical problems.
Maintain accurate records (MIS-data collection or similar) of material and device history enabling a forward projection of maintenance
Ensure the correct servicing and maintenance is carried out as per manufacturers recommendations and company policies on all machinery or equipment used.
Run scheduled setting & profile tests as and when requested.
Continually maintain a clean and tidy working environment, ensuring the correct disposal methods for waste materials is followed, in accordance to Health & Safety guidelines.
Ensure the safety and well being of others by ensuring the adherence to company Health & Safety policy and guidelines.
Actively ensure that all Health & Safety Risk Assessments are followed and recommendations implemented.
