This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a litho & digital printing company with a reputation for both quality and service. It would appeal to an experienced individual looking to do a variety of tasks within a busy and long-established printing company. This is a role where no two days are never the same. You will ensure all jobs and variety of projects despatch on time with 100% accuracy, and meeting SLAs.
We are looking for a hard-working individual who can offer flexibility and commitment. This highly motivated individual will need to display a professional approach to their work and have a genuine ‘can do’ attitude towards their responsibilities. This person should be someone who could become part of the fabric of the Company over the next few years. The working hours will be continental shifts, 3 nights on and 3 nights off working 6pm – 6am.
The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise the workload to achieve maximum output is critical.
The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in either digital or litho printing. This hands-on role will require a highly motivated, self-disciplined team player. You will need to be adaptable and able to multi task.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
– Effectively running the digital press in line with job specifications and maintaining the digital press room
– Key Performance Indicators
– Accuracy of job production in-line with job specifications
– Reduction of reprints, wastage
– Press Uptime and maintenance reporting
Requirements
– Ensure all work is produced to highest standard, most efficiently, on time, to expected quality, and to job specifications
– Ensure press environment and presses are maintained to expected high level
– Ensure presses are kept in working order to expected standards
– Ensure all reprints are recorded, monitored and reported
– To support Digital Print Supervisor in general running and upkeep of digital department
– To work autonomously in the production of the digital applications
– To ensure uptime of presses is kept to highest level possible
– To drive the on-going development of Lean principles throughout the Department
