Digital Pre-Press Operator

Our client is a highly dynamic fast-growing print business. They are seeking an Indigo Operator with extensive knowledge of an HP indigo pre-press environment and associated software used to ensure file delivery and reproduction is carried out efficiently.
Lead times can often be highly demanding, therefore the successful applicant will show an ability to prioritise tasks and think logically and methodically, and capable of working well in a team and communicating efficiently with piers. This permanent role is 8am – 5pm (42.5 hrs week) on a 5 day (Mon – Fri) working week.,
The role will involve:
• Processing, imposing and sending files to our HP Indigo digital press using industry standard software
• File manipulation where necessary
• Customer liaison
• Variable data job processing
Candidates must be proficient in the following:
• Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, SmartStream
• Enfous Pitstop
• A good understanding of Enfocus Switch workflows
• Works in an Apple Mac environment
