We are working with one of the largest packaging groups in the world to fill a number of key roles across Europe.
Responsible for managing, administering, and coordinating all aspects of major and complex planning projects ensures coordination of all phases of planning, implementation, and management of projects through coordination with all departments in the development review process
Key Activities
- Processing of key customer sales orders.
- Key point of contact with the customers assigned.
- Entering information onto the company official CR system.
- Following up on ETA’s from internal and external production teams and advising customers.
- Dealing with the customer queries to the required standard.
- Supporting the customer service Manager with other customer requirements when necessary.
- Involvement in standards improvements and progression with the customer services / commercial manager.
- Promoting products and services that will benefit our customers.
- Build and maintain excellent product knowledge.
- Ensure effective communication with other employees
- Liaising with Production, Planning, Finance, Dispatch and Technical support on all necessary matters.
- Project Management – look at lean opportunities within the department
- Supporting standardization efforts
- Covering other colleagues and manager during absences, ensuring no gaps in execution
- Acting #2 in the Supply Chain / Customer Services department
- Working knowledge of planning role
- Confidence in reporting on OTIF, Lead time, KPI reporting etc.
Experience required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience strategic / production planning
- Experience in managing/leading a team an advantage
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- People and project management experience, with the ability to lead a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Sound knowledge of material requirements planning systems and related software
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
