This is a pivotal role within the organisation, supporting the Managed Communications Business Development team in activation of contracts with customers, creating and delivering on project plans. All applicants should have previous experience of project management and planning from inception to delivery, with a focus on time management, excellent networking skills (internally and externally) and strong attention to detail.

This is a national client-facing role, involving travel across the country. The Role:

• Development and operational management of a single or multiple Managed Communications contract(s) with varying value from between £100K to 1 million plus of spend per annum, ensuring that operational support to clients is managed exceptionally, delivered efficiently and profitably while providing effective account leadership.
• Responsible for the retention, development and growth of specific assigned account(s) seeking to further penetrate the categories of Managed Communications, offering a wider range of services and solutions to these clients.
• Create qualified sales pipelines within all existing assigned clients
• Deliver account growth through additional service lines and general support initiatives
• Provide detailed client performance and opportunity reports including financials
• Provide a high degree of technical print support and expertise to both to clients and associates across multiple disciplines in the Managed Communications sector.

• Continually seeks to drive down bought in costs, reduce inefficiency and increase profitability.
• Manages operational financial performance for assigned client contracts.
• Develop and execute profit improvement plans.
• Delivery of the strategic development, operational and commercial strategy.
• Responsibility for an appointed Client Service team, compliance, development and ongoing management.
• Ensures contract compliance, best practice and service execution.
• Develops and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of clients and their key drivers.
• Ensures excellent customer satisfaction is delivered.

Skills & Experience Required

• Relevant degree or equivalent industry borne experience.
• Experience of the execution and management of Managed Service strategies.
• An excellent understanding of planning, budget and cost management with a structured and organised approach
• Strong commercial acumen and people-management skills
• Proven experience of service delivery and customer relationship management
• Credible approach, with the ability to present and liaise at senior level, instilling confidence
• Proven business development experience, with a resilient approach
• An ability to develop and execute alternative solutions.
