We are working with an international packaging company that has always been ahead of the game in terms of innovation and creativity.

They are looking for a Business Development Director to join their Retail Marketing function, taking full responsibility for developing and leading on their new business strategy as they continue to grow in the 3D market.  You will become a valued member of the senior leadership team within this function and will be able to share your knowledge and experience with two dedicated Business Development Managers who will be supporting you and your vision for the team.

You will actively research, target and create opportunities with prospective clients, using your networking skills and refined sales approach to bring more high-value clients on-board.  Initial negotiations with these clients can sometimes become quite complex so our client will be asking you to demonstrate your resilience and strength of character as you lead from the front.  Many of your skills around lead qualification will be shared with the wider team as you continue to develop a winning strategy for quality lead generation.  Along with other teams in the business, you’ll carry out research into the best products and services in the market, constantly ensuring that our client is providing a first-class service to its customers.

This role of Business Development Director requires a strong character with excellent networking & negotiation skills, and the ability to lead a Business Development team in a growing business. We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to present ideas in an engaging way.

Candidates must have a detailed knowledge of the FMCG and 3D Print markets, along with supply chain and procurement knowledge.

This is a fantastic chance to join a multinational company that believes in empowering its people; driving a culture of engagement and continuous improvement to deliver results.
