Job Title: Business Development Manager – Print Equipment

Salary: £Highly Attractive Basic + % of GP

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a highly respected organisation operating within the print and finishing equipment sector. We are looking for a commercially driven sales professional who can identify new opportunities, build strong customer relationships and play a key role in the continued growth of an established and successful business.

And this is a role with genuine earning potential. Alongside a competitive basic salary, the commission structure offers an attractive percentage of GP, giving you the opportunity to directly benefit from the business you generate. For an ambitious BDM with the ability to open doors, develop opportunities and close substantial equipment sales, this represents a package where your earnings can grow in line with your performance.

This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys being out in the market, developing relationships and getting to grips with customers’ requirements before presenting the right solution. You will be responsible for developing new business across the print sector, whilst also nurturing existing relationships and identifying opportunities to increase customer spend. You will be dealing with customers at all levels, developing long-term commercial relationships and identifying opportunities where the right equipment and finishing solutions can genuinely add value.

Our client has an excellent reputation within the industry and represents a strong portfolio of high-quality print solutions, giving you a credible proposition and some excellent opportunities to take to market. This is not simply about transactional selling; it is about understanding a customer’s operation, identifying an opportunity and developing the relationship through to a successful sale.

We are looking for a confident and credible sales professional with experience within print machinery sales environment. You should be comfortable generating your own leads, developing a pipeline and managing sales opportunities through to completion. You will need to be commercially minded, proactive and driven by results, with the personality and confidence to build relationships with senior decision-makers.
