Artworker / Mac Operator

Due to customer demand our client currently has a career opportunity for an Artworker / Mac Operator to join their busy team. Suitable candidates must have professional experience with artwork and reprographics for either Gravure, Flexo or Litho print processes. A high level of competence is required using the following software packages: Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience in using Artpro or Deskpack would also be beneficial. A working experience of artwork construction and colour separation for print is essential. Experience of the packaging industry would be of significant benefit. The ability to work independently or as a part of a team is a necessity.

The duties will include but not be limited to the following:

• Artwork preflight
• Artwork construction
• Reprographic separation for print
• Colour managed proof output
• File management
• Client liaison
