Our Client is a leading high-tech company in the field of large format 3D printing.

They are seeking to appoint a 3D Application Engineer for their Customers who are based In Germany & France

Languages Required: English, (must have), plus French or German.

Role responsibilities include:

Working closely with Support teams and sales channels
Installing 3D printers
Supporting customers’ application needs.

Producing 3D models and preparing for printing
Leading complex and challenging projects
Adapting designs to printing constraints and preparing projects’ estimations for potential and existing customers.

Creating, writing, reviewing, and editing Application & Technical documents.
Giving On-site and Web training for existing and potential customers
Resolving technical and application problems
Supporting company’s participation in conferences and trade shows
Operating Demo unit in the company’s facilities


Comprehensive knowledge of at least one 3D design software:
– Ideally ZBrush and / or Rhino (intermediate or higher level).

– 3D Max, Maya Solid Works also considered.

Experience in 3D design (producing models and cutting it into small models)
A degree in Industrial design or equivalent – advantageous.
3D model finishing processes capabilities: Polishing, Painting, Cutting etc.- advantageous
2D Software CSS Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign – advantageous.
Experience in operating other professional 3D printers – a significant advantage
Experience as an application engineer in the 3D printing world –  advantageous
Ability to set priorities based on workload
Well-organized and able to multi-task effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Client can also consider early career Candidates eg 1-3 years experience with a Degree in Industrial Design – where 3D printing / modelling is involved.
