Job Title: Apple Mac Operator / CAD-CAM Operator

We are looking for a skilled Apple Mac Operator / CAD-CAM Operator to handle day-to-day Mac-based production work and support design, planning, and pre-press activities. The role involves working with Fuji XMF software for workflow and job processing, along with basic CAD design and planning using Arden software or similar CAD/CAM tools. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, technically sound, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day Apple Mac operations related to design, pre-press, and production workflows
  • Operate and manage jobs using Fuji XMF software / Phoenix Planning Software
  • Create, edit, and manage CAD designs for packaging, layouts, or tooling using Arden software or similar CAD/CAM applications
  • Support planning and preparation of designs for production and manufacturing
  • Ensure accuracy of files, dimensions, and technical specifications
  • Coordinate with design, production, and planning teams to meet job requirements and deadlines
  • Troubleshoot basic software or file-related issues on Mac systems
  • Maintain organized records of job files and revisions
  • Follow company standards, quality guidelines, and workflow procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Apple Mac OS and Mac-based workflows
  • Hands-on experience with XMF software (or strong ability to learn quickly)
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of CAD/CAM design and planning
  • Experience with Arden Impact software or similar CAD tools (e.g., ArtiosCAD or equivalent)
  • Understanding of technical drawings, layouts, and design specifications
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience as a Mac Operator, CAD Operator, or similar role
  • Experience in printing, packaging, manufacturing, or pre-press environments is an advantage

Education

  • Diploma or certification in Graphic Design, CAD/CAM, Printing Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal education
