This a key role within our client company for a 1st class Account Manager with at least 3 years supervisory experience.

We are looking for someone who can develop and maintain optimum performance of the account in a specified region, in conjunction with the operational teams and individuals through pro active leadership and management. You will focus on continuous improvement of our performance, operational workflows and efficiency.

A key relationship builder with the relevant stakeholders, you will act as the face of the collective team by representing them in key projects, meetings and assignments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Working closely with the SAC’s (Studio Account Coordinators) and customer’s Packaging group, plan, organise and direct studio activities and resource work within the teams.
2. Build and maintain excellent contact with key decision makers both internally and externally.
3. Ensure the studios optimise resource to best utilise available capacity.
4. Monitor and measure performance of the account through KPI’s and metric reporting.
5. Act as a back-up for the SAC’s during holidays, sickness and, by using own judgment, in projects which require additional support.
6. Work closely with the relevant internal and external Quality functions to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
7. Develop a perceptive awareness of the customer’s actual requirements and translate back to the operational teams.
8. Work in conjunction with the Global Account Director (GAD) to be a key point of contact for the customer regarding operational issues, including any customer specific requirements.
9. Provide project management and critical path management as appropriate.
10. Hold and attend regular team meetings both on and off site.
11. Identify areas for improvements, offer solutions and monitor new processes.
12. Deliver annual performance appraisals and regular individual coaching sessions within a format of your preference.
13. Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.
14. To develop and cement a good team-working environment.
In addition the Account Manager will also be expected to fulfil the following requirements:
– Proficiency with computer systems including SAP and Microsoft Office products
– Experience in handling MAH (Marketing Authorisation Holder) transfer projects
– Ability to travel (international and domestic) on occasions
– Demonstrated strong written and presentation skills

Supervisory Responsibilities
This role will have supervisory responsibilities and will be defined in conjunction with the Global Account Director. Your direct reports will be the Studio Account Coordinators (SAC’s) and you will be expected to support the SAC’s interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and dealing with any issues; assisting with complaints and resolving problems.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills
Project Management – BLUE MIS; Excel Spreadsheet; Word Processing; and PowerPoint.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
UK Driving License essential.

Other Qualifications
Expected to travel to meet customer requirements.
