This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled flexographic printer to join a well-established business working within a professional and quality-focused production environment.

The successful candidate will have solid experience of flexographic printing and a good understanding of the processes involved in producing high-quality printed packaging.

The Role

As a Flexographic Printer, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate production of printed packaging, ensuring work is completed to the required quality standards and within agreed production timescales.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and operating flexographic printing presses.
  • Preparing presses for production, including inks, plates, substrates and tooling.
  • Ensuring print quality and colour consistency throughout production.
  • Carrying out quality checks and making adjustments where required.
  • Monitoring the press and resolving any issues that arise during production.
  • Working to production schedules and meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Ensuring materials and finished work meet the required specifications.
  • Working closely with colleagues across production and prepress.
  • Supporting the investigation and resolution of any print-related issues.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Following company procedures relating to quality, health & safety and production.
  • Contributing to maintaining and improving production efficiency.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Flexographic Printer with a genuine background in flexographic print production.

You will ideally have experience of working within a packaging or commercial print environment and be comfortable working in a busy production setting.

You will bring:

  • Previous experience operating flexographic printing machinery.
  • Good knowledge of flexographic printing processes.
  • An understanding of inks, substrates, plates and print quality.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work to production deadlines.
  • A strong commitment to quality and safe working practices.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a wider production team.
  • A reliable, practical and proactive approach to your work.

Experience with specific flexographic press types, substrates or packaging applications would be advantageous but is not essential.
