Job Title: Traditional Textile Print Operative (Flatbed & Rotary Screen)

Our client is a world-renowned contract manufacturer specialising in luxury printed textiles, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation. They are looking for a skilled Textile Print Operative to join their production team, focusing on the setup, operation, and maintenance of our flatbed and rotary screen-printing lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation & Setup: Safely set up, operate, flatbed and high-speed rotary screen-printing lines.
  • Precision Registration: Mount, align, and sync screens/cylinders to ensure flawless pattern repeats, monitoring squeegee and magnetic pressure continuously.
  • Ink & Paste Management: Monitor paste flow, viscosity, and chemical colour consistency to ensure uniform application across continuous fabric runs.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect fabrics in real-time, rapidly identifying and correcting defects such as screen blockages, misregistrations, or fabric tension issues.
  • Line Maintenance: Clean mesh screens, blades, and cylinders and keep downtime to a minimum.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience operating industrial textile printing machinery (specifically flatbed or rotary screen lines).
  • A strong technical eye for fabric mechanics, tension adjustments, and chemical paste application.
  • The mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment and execute precision line changes.
  • A reliable, quality-driven team player who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift Pattern: Day Shift (Tuesday to Friday) 3x10hrs Friday 7am to 3pm.
