What You’ll be doing:
As a machine operator you will be responsible for running the digital printing production line.
You will operate the machine in line with our production procedures and aim to achieve our targets around quality and productivity. Attention to detail, problem solving, and working to tight deadlines will be required.
You will be responsible for:
● Operation and maintenance of the digital printing production line.
● Working closely with the Pre-press team when it comes to solving queries about jobs.
● Completing production orders to in line with the schedule, quality and production costs
● Maintaining the working area, equipment and ensuring the equipment is kept clean and tidy as per the production procedures.
● Working safely and performing machine health and safety checks
● Logistics of the completed orders (Packing, banding)
What skills and experience you’ll bring to us:
● Experience in running a digital press will be advantageous however we are happy to consider all operators with manufacturing experience in a fast moving environment.
● Attention to detail when it comes to quality and following procedures and working instructions.
● Excellent problem solving skills
● Excellent communication and organisational skills
● Flexible and adaptable to completing other tasks other than operating the digital line
Hours – 40 hours per week
