Die Cutting Operator

We are seeking a Die Cutting Operator for our client to be responsible for the operation of flat sheet die cutting equipment.
of die cutting for folding carton production.

Operation of Polar 76 & 92 Guillotines (desirable but not essential, full training
will be given.
To operate and maintain die cutting equipment & machinery as per the
requirements of the business, this will daily and planned maintenance and
alongside the training of other staff on the equipment.
Knowledge of embossing also desirable
To ensure that work is produced in a timely and efficient manner.

PRINICIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
As a finishing operative you will take responsibility for:
• Operating flexibly across the finishing department; demonstrating
confidence knowledge and skill to operate any finishing plant or
machinery as and when required
• Ensuring that finishing processes run smoothly and to time
• Working efficiently to a daily production schedule
• Ensuring the on time make ready and running of products to required
quality standards.
• The daily housekeeping and maintenance of Finishing equipment; this
includes cleaning to the required standard
• Following all maintenance procedures for the sound upkeep of the
Finishing equipment at all times.
