The main criteria for this hands-on role will be to:

5.    Plan & implement a sales strategy

Responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies, you will gather performance data and generate reports. You will use your knowledge of the industry to look at ways to create growth, accurately forecast sales predictions and shifts in the marketplace, and avoid stagnation. Your role as Sales Director will also be to analyse the company’s product offering and current client portfolio and identify additional markets in which it can serve. This high degree of trend analysis, market monitoring, and result tracking requires a candidate with a well-developed business sense.

Actively managing the sales team with a focus on developing talent, you will set objectives, coach, monitor performance and drive them to exceed sales goals. Ensuring optimum success within this this role will require emotional intelligence and well-developed interpersonal skills to maintain close, trusting relationships with team members and facilitate open communication.
