Operations Director

Our client is a major printing group who are expanding their digital interests. As part of this growth plan we are looking to recruit an Operations Director of the calibre that will help them fulfil their ambitious, well-supported plans.

The successful candidate will take the reins of all operational activities of the business, striving to guarantee the highest level of customer satisfaction through the adherence of principal industry standards. Being successful in this role will depend heavily on a strong commercial acumen and financial understanding.

A key expectation pertaining to this role will be to manage and coordinate all print production operations, adopting best practises in all areas to drive efficiency and enable new product opportunities. You will initiate lean manufacturing plans and processes which minimize costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities and materials.

We are looking for a charismatic individual with laudable people management skills, to create a positive culture within the business and generate a high rate of employee satisfaction.

Stand out candidates will be high ambitious, exhibiting a confident ability to manage change and have a hunger to play a crucial part in our client’s long-term success in print production.

At this stage we can only consider candidates from the small format digital market. We are particularly interested in candidates who also have experience in transactional and or Direct Mail. We need someone can impress us with their knowledge of the key technologies related to the industry.
