Machine Operator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Polywrap Operator to join the production team of a leader in the management of international deliveries of magazines, periodicals and direct mail.

This rapidly growing international mailer and distributed is looking for a dependable machine operator with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will be working to very high standards in a fast-paced environment so a good eye for attention to detail is key.

This role requires someone with a good understanding of production procedures and a working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and running adjustments.
Full training will be given where required but a high level of existing ability and experience in running machinery is desired.

Experience with Polywrap machines (Buhrs, CMC, Sitma) would make your application stand out from the crowd. A knowledge and understanding of mail house environment would also be highly advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up/changeover of polywrap machinery
• Control and adjust machines as needed
• Machine maintenance
• Record daily activity on job sheet
• Responsible for supervising small team on wrapping line
• Keep working area clean
