This is a superb opportunity to head up an established Service Support Division and be the main driver for continuous improvement to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Client Profile:-

Our Client is a leading manufacturer of equipment for printing and coating applications with installations taking place across the world.

Our Client’s UK site is based in the Southern half of England and they also have overseas subsidiaries and world wide support from agents and distributors.

Key Candidate Criteria:-

  • Print Equipment Service Management background across multiple locations including overseas.
  • Experience of Managing a Service operation within a World Class Print Equipment Manufacturing Environment.
  • Strong Analytical Mindset – a Manager with a focus on ways to Develop both People and Systems.

Role Summary:-

  • Responsible for the Service Support Operation in the UK and RoW.
  • The UK and ROW Service Managers will report to you to ensure that all office and field based customer services are delivered to the highest standard.
  • You will manage and motivate the team to realise their full potential as well as optimizing sales opportunities in the field.
  • Be able to develop systems to monitor KPIs and metrics across our Client’s Service operation enabling Target Improvement activity.

You will have responsibility of managing a team of over 30 personnel in total

Role Requirements:-

  • With a proven track record of Service Management across multiple locations overseas, you have extensive people management experience within a fast-paced, technical Print environment.
  • Your analytical mindset and technical capability to learn about the Company’s core products are underpinned by strong communication and interpersonal skills and clear problem-solving capabilities over a diverse range of issues.
    An important part of the role is with our Client’s End Users and OEMs, understanding how they perceive the Company and what improvements can be made to the Product & Service offering.


  • Must be able to be based in England and be free to travel worldwide with no restrictions – you need to be a willing and flexible traveller.


  • Relevant Industry experience and relevant Industry Qualifications.
  • Must be computer literate;-
  • Knowledge of PCBs & PLCs (up-loading of programmes and interrogation of fault record for trouble shooting) – desirable / not essential).

Product / Systems Training will be provided to the successful Candidate
