Job Title: Ink Technician

Salary: circa £19,000 + shift allowance

Do you love working with colour? Are you an Ink Technician with 2-3 years’ experience looking to work for an award winning self-adhesive label manufacturing company? We have an opportunity for an Ink Technician to join a world-class production facility that is focused on providing innovative, quality solutions to customers for a wide range of packaging requirements.

 Main role responsibilities

  • Managing and formulating UV inks
  • Colour proofing
  • Trouble shooting colour problems
  • Colour matching by eye but predominantly with spectrophotometers

Key requirements

  • Experience of UV inks
  • A good eye for colour and of LAB Colour Space
  • Experience of Xrite IFS v6.41 or similar
  • Experience of working in print and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • An effective team player and communicator
  • IT competent with MS Office
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
