Key Responsibilities

  • Operate flexographic printing machine efficiently and safely
  • Set up jobs including plate mounting, anilox selection, ink preparation, and registration
  • Ensure consistent print quality, color accuracy, and minimal waste
  • Handle UV inks, varnishes, and specialty coatings
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, print, and registration issues during production
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
  • Monitor production output against job specifications and timelines
  • Train and guide junior operators when required
  • Follow company quality, safety, and production procedures

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of flexographic label printing (PVC, BOPP, PSL Paper and films)
  • Experience with UV inks, anilox rolls, doctor blades, and die-cutting units
  • Ability to read and understand job tickets and technical specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good understanding of print quality standards and waste control
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills (Advantage)

  • Experience with shrink sleeve or specialty label jobs
  • Knowledge of color matching and basic colour management
  • Experience in training operators or leading shifts
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices
