Job Title: Financial Controller

Salary: £65k to £75k pa (depending on experience)

A fast growing printer is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of the company’s financial management and reporting. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to senior leadership. This role is integral to the company’s success and will play a pivotal role in shaping our client’s financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and implement financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Monitor and report on financial performance against budget and forecast

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
  • Provide financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders

Financial Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital to support the company’s growth
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures

Tax and Compliance:

  • Ensure and execute compliance with all tax regulations
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior financial role in a manufacturing company
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
